Blind Fate: Edo no Yami is the brainchild of an intriguing concept that reworks the mythology and folklore of feudal Japan to transport them into a dystopian future populated by bloodthirsty machines. Its blind protagonist is a truly remarkable gimmick, especially once inserted in such a context.

Forza Horison 5: Hot Wheels is a beautiful dive into the dreams of children who have been building tracks on tracks for decades. A sort of car-sized playground built to amaze from the very first moment, which however focuses too much on the glance and sacrifices on the altar of the scenography both the freedom of exploration of the base game and the beauty of its events. The spectacular expeditions of the festival are missing, as well as secondary events that increase the affection towards this new floating and intricate world. It is good that a different path has been tried than in the past but the experiment presents in our opinion some uncertainty.

Seeing the rebirth of a video game as important and influential as it is unknown to most (at least here in the West) is a feeling difficult to describe. Live A Live is a remake made almost impeccably and, above all, with great taste, between the magical touch of HD-2D and the original soundtrack by Yoko Shimomura appropriately rearranged for the occasion.

Neon White is therefore an absolutely unmissable video game, capable as few of paralleling a very precise, frenetic and totally skill-based gameplay and a narrative that embraces stereotypes to use them as a picket with which to dig into the human soul.

Citizen Sleeper is a breath of fresh air for a genre like science fiction, increasingly inclined to self-cite and enhance its aesthetics, leaving the content partially in the shadows. Its settings, although not directly observable, are alive, pulsating, and inside it is possible to intertwine with the stories of the inhabitants of Erlin's Eye.

The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe is a conversion, remake, update, sequel and negation of the original work. All together. A title that nine years ago changed the videogame landscape and that today returns not to complete its mission, but more to reflect on itself, on what it has represented and on what it has left to the industry. Some passages of the "New Content" are hallucinatory and brilliant, and blend with the original content in a masterful way. In short, The Stanley Parable is one of those experiences that anyone should play at least once in their life.

Forgive Me Father is a Doom-clone as many are seeing in the last period. A concentration of extreme splatter, comic graphics, Lovecraftian suggestions and some small RPG ambitions that however ends up collapsing under the weight of some anachronistic and superficial game and level design choices.

The Kaito Files delves into Takayuki Yagami's handyman shoulder, introducing very interesting revelations about Kaito's past and, above all, exhibited with great elegance. It is an additional chapter focused on brawls that, unfortunately, forces its protagonist to submit to some gameplay dynamics that marry poorly with his most violent and animalistic nature, as well as being made with a questionable level of care.

Behind Sol Cresta hides the desire for redemption of a Platinum Games wounded in pride since the days of Star Fox Zero. A Shoot 'em up with ancient inspirations but aware of coming into the world in 2022, capable of introducing a great variety of innovative and ingenious mechanics but which exaggerates with the amount of its contents, which become almost suffocating.

Chocobo GP takes up the speech abandoned by SquareSoft at the end of the 90s and brings to light the official kart racer dedicated to the Final Fantasy franchise.
