Almost twenty hours of having war on Battlefield 2042, divided between the open beta sessions at the beginning of October and the last three days of full-immersion with the final version, were certainly enlightening and allowed me to deepen many aspects related to both the content and the gameplay mechanics. Monster Hunter: World is a huge step forward in the action RPG saga from Capcom. Despite some simplifications in the gameplay mechanics realized to welcome the new players, the developer has managed to create an awesome hunting experience in a big and detailed open world. A potentially endless game incredibly fun to play with friends, an experience that will change and evolve in the next few months with live events and updates, as promised by Capcom.

Alan Wake 2 is the most authorial, visceral, and ambitious game ever made by Remedy Entertainment, which will delight fans of the series with a new adventure with dark tones that improves on the first chapter in many ways. The transformation into a survival horror game has also revitalized the gameplay through a disturbing atmosphere, transposed in the best possible way thanks to a well-told story and charismatic characters. Despite a general variety that is not always up to par, Alan Wake 2 has rightfully entered the club of the most exciting games in 2023.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is a worthy sequel to the 2019 soft reboot, confirming the mastery of Infinity Ward in making the best chapters of the series.
