Unlike the previous DLC, which was excessively linear and poor in content, The Rising Tide led us into a more open area and all in all full of optional activities.

Putting aside the technical component, which between bugs and frame rate drops even rather conspicuous continues to appear shaky, "The Indigo Disc" turned out to be overall a richer and more captivating content than the previous DLC, especially from a playful point of view.

Excessively short and linear to be considered the "post-game" absent at the launch of Final Fantasy XVI, Echoes of the Fallen delves into the fascinating mythology of Valisthea and explores a topic that had been repeatedly hinted at in the main game.

The highlight of the experience, which unfortunately is penalized by the same technical problems already encountered in the base game, is therefore represented by the introduction of a new Pokédex to complete, which as usual will push you to scour every corner of the albeit small region of Nordivia.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash totally misses the mark, lending itself to even serious problems and only partly attributable to the low budget evidently made available for development.

The idea behind AKIBA'S TRIP is delicious and fun, but if in 2011 the product could work despite all its shortcomings and the limitations imposed by the PSP hardware, the same cannot be said for its reissue. The one made by Acquire is in fact a remastered only in name, it is no coincidence that the product has preserved all its historical technical problems, such as the mismanagement of the camera, the inaccurate pointing system, the very slow response times of the commands, the cumbersome animations, and so on.

ONE PIECE ODYSSEY - Reunion of Memories is a listless appendix to say the least. Net of interesting narrative premises at first glance, the DLC proved to be disappointing in every respect: an already superfluous and forgettable plot is in this case aggravated by the total removal of the exploratory component, which on balance translates into an extremely linear and boring experience, and by the exasperating recycling of settings and bosses already proposed by the main game.

Extremely derivative on a playful level and technically insufficient even by the standards of the last generation (and beyond), Dolmen is an experiment that has only minimally succeeded.

Babylon's Fall is a huge wasted opportunity. Supported by ingenious mechanics such as the Gideon Arms or the Dynamis Abilities, the combat system had the potential to shine with a new and intense light, but the questionable choice to postpone to the endgame the unlocking of crafting and skills related to the three races greatly slows down the progression, placing the player in front of an unbearable monotony and spurring him to abandon the product within a few hours.

Touhou Genso Rondo : Bullet Ballet is a weak title in every respect, especially from the point of view of content. The story mode is not only suffering from enormous narrative flaws, but it can be completed in less than four hours, and even one of the few playable characters is only available via DLC.

Giving up the winning features boasted by the licensed musou launched at the turn of 2020 and 2021, Touken Ranbu Warriors was lacking in every respect. The longevity reduced the bone, the absence of secondary modes and mechanics capable of differentiating a minimum of the offer, without forgetting a non-existent level of difficulty, make it a product absolutely not up to the current standards of Omega Force.

Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires is a title that, if taken in small doses, is absolutely capable of pampering and entertaining admirers of the saga and the strategic drift undertaken by the Empires strand.

Touhou Double Focus is a spin-off of Touhou Project: an uninspired metroidvania which lacks original ideas.

MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death is evidence that Compile Heart and Idea Factory can make mistakes too. In recent years, the two Japanese companies produced a long series of little titles, innovative and exquisitely witty. The new product has only touched the target, showing many flaws in the most important aspects of the structure and gameplay.

Compared to the PlayStation 4 version that landed in stores only two years ago, the port does not have any significant additions and both the technical and graphic sectors are almost unchanged. If you already own the previous edition, which these days is offered at much more reasonable prices, there is no valid reason why you should prefer the very lazy port proposed by NIS America.

Infinity Strash - Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai is by no means the tie-in that fans of the license have always wanted, but neither is it a total disaster.

There are several aspects of Mato Anomalies that do not work as we would have liked. Although interesting and engaging, the narrative scaffolding is in fact slowed down by the presence of long-winded dialogues (moreover not dubbed) in visual novel style, while the playful system does not offer particularly original solutions.

Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris is not the title we were promised. Torn apart by a recurring dualism that contrasts originality with loyalty, the simplified management of the party with the excessive woodiness of the combat system, and so on, Bandai Namco's new proposal is constantly looking for its own dimension.
