Critic Reviews for Assassin's Creed Odyssey: Legacy of the First Blade - Episode 3: Bloodline
The Assassin's Creed Odyssey: Legacy of the First Blade grand finale cleanly ties up the story it started with answers and great moments for everyone involved.
With the half-fanservice half-justified First Blade out of the way I'm really looking forward to the upcoming Atlantis storyline. It isn't perfect, but this episodic format isn't something I'd mind seeing return to Assassin's Creed in the future.
Admittedly, the ride hasn't been anything amazing, but Legacy of the First Blade stands as a fine addition to an already great game.
The Legacy of the First Blade last part delivers a clumsy conclusion to Assassin's Creed Odyssey journey, by recycling the same missions and mechanics once more, only to lead its story to the end and satisfy some fans of the saga. With a single naval battle, a kind of cheated new ability and a bland last boss, this third DLC runs short on idea, and do not reach the quality of Assassin's Creed Odyssey main story.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey Legacy of the First Blade Episode 3: Bloodline concludes the three-part series on an adequate note. Bringing together a series of predictable events and mediocre missions but ending with a conclusion tailored more for fans of the series. Newcomers may feel cheated with Bloodline's finale but longtime fans of the Assassin's Creed franchise find more value in how this game connects to other titles in the series.
The final episode of Legacy of the First Blade is a worthy ending to the DLC. It has an exciting, although short, story and interesting dialogues with other characters. The episode also adds a new ability, but doesn't shake up the gameplay in any way.
