Bob Richardson's Reviews
When I close a good, long book, I always feel a little sad, as if I had just said good bye to an old friend. I want to know what happens to the characters that I grew to love, but I have to accept the end and move on. Bastion is a short game, which will run most people around five or six hours. Nevertheless, I feel that same kind of loss. Although I truly believe that Bastion could have doubled its length in terms of gameplay, I’m glad that the story didn’t risk imploding on itself. Don’t let anyone tell you this is a Diablo clone—that would cheapen Bastion; it needs to be heard to be believed.
If you liked Season 1, give Telltale more of your money.
The content is fantastic, though the timing between episodes holds the game back.

This final episode makes the long trip worthwhile. Newcomers should take the plunge with confidence.

Present day's king of adventure games.
If you can learn the system down to your bones, then this will be a fulfilling adventure.
A world that demands your attention, Shadowrun endures long after the finale.
Not to be taken seriously, Telltale demonstrate the ability to shift between serious and comedic titles.
Despite its technical issues, Game of Thrones has strong content.
Though it hurts me personally to lambaste Final Fantasy XIII the way I have, what pains me even more is the poor design and direction I had to endure. Granted, the entire experience wasn’t that bad. Pockets of enjoyment exist throughout and the second quarter of the game is thoroughly enjoyable, but the introductory sequence is a little too hand-holdy and the last half of the game is unforgivably bland and vapid. If you’re like me and have waited years to try this title out, I plead that you look elsewhere. The mystery of what FFXIII holds is far more pleasing than the experience itself.
Although not Game of the Year, Valkyria Chronicles is worth 30 hours of your time.
Episode 2 affirms my confidence in Telltale's ability to respect the source material.
A Telltale-esque title set in suburban America that hints at maturity.
Although not a negative experience, the drop in quality from Episode 1 can't be ignored.
Fans of the books and TV series will love taking part in Martin's world.
