While the premises were good enough, Extinction fails to take a few step further. Every giant slayed in the game feels exactly the same as the one you met before - and there is not much else to do in the game.

Conan Exiles brings you in a violent world, full of background stories and dangerous places, but still feels crippled due to technical flaws, despite the time passed in early access on Steam.

The Messenger is a brilliant action platformer (...or is it a metroidvania?), full of irony and pretty difficult jumps. The time shift between the 8-bit past and the 16-bit "future" is what makes the game shine - even with its low replayability.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is not so easy to pick for new players, but extremely rewarding once you get into it. Technically speaking, its style feels too old for the new generation console: the Nintendo side of the Capcom saga needs, more than ever, a new, fresh beginning.

As things stand today, Dauntless is still a promising game, crippled by some technical issues (there's still an OB in the software version, after all), but enhanced by a great cross-play feature.

It is indeed a great history lesson on the golden age of the arcades, but a short one, with low replayability.

It's a gift for the fans of the anime – definitively not suited for those who aren't – with a well crafted combat system: simple but deep mechanics that can reward players who can read correctly their opponent, even if their execution level is not top class.
