Critic Reviews for Food Truck Simulator
Went wrong somewhere along the line. The original idea might have promise, but in practice it has failed. Threatens to be interesting sometimes, but rarely.
Glitchy and laboured, operating this pretend catering van feels too much like hard work
There are some good ideas in play here, but Food Truck Simulator gets many of its basic elements wrong to the point where the game becomes a repetitive pain to play.
Having already analyzed different simulation games, I have to say that Food Truck Simulator is one of those that have incredible potential. The game proposal is quite pleasant and fun, leaving a bad taste in our mouths when we have to face the technical and "basic" problems that the game has. As I have mentioned, the technical problems are serious, which is not only related to its port to consoles, but is something specific to the game in its development for PC. These problems ruin the experience, giving the feeling of "cheap play", becoming something you don't even want to touch because of the problems it has.

Overall it's like many simulation games in that if you get in to it… you can find yourself somewhat zoning out to it and it can be a lot of fun. But it can also cause a lot of stress if you just can't find your rhythm. Ultimately, not without fault… but a decent bit of fun can be had and for a reasonable price too.
Like Gas Station Simulator before it, Food Truck Simulator could benefit from a little more polish. And, also like Gas Station Simulator, you’re paying money to pretend to have a job. But expanding your little business and being the best Food Truck Guy, shaving seconds off each time you fry, never gets old. As mundane as its premise may seem, Food Truck Simulator is a real joy.
Food Truck Simulator shows potential, but there is work still needed to be done here.
Food Truck Simulator is incredibly, unbelievably janky. It doesn’t feel good to play with a controller, and I can’t speak on how it might feel to play with a mouse and keyboard since I played on Xbox (yes, yes, PC master race). Though, looking at the reviews of it on Steam, I don’t think I was missing out on a much better experience.
