Night Springs is a fantastic anthology that makes use of Remedy's eclectic collection of characters and locations to create some truly absurd Twilight Zone-esque stories that are good fun for any fan of the studio.

Still Wakes the Deep delivers a strong atmosphere and specific sense of place that make its unique mix of cosmic horror and grounded natural disaster survival thriller work beautifully.

Senua's Saga: Hellblade II showcases a level of visual prowess that blows anything we've seen so far out of the water and uses it to present a journey that, while short, excites from beginning to end.

5 / 10.0 - Umbraclaw
May 29, 2024

While Umbraclaw has an interesting core mechanic revolving around the nine lives of a cat, it's lacking in execution with bland level design and lackluster combat.

7 / 10.0 - Hauntii

While hauntingly beautiful and fun for a good while, your time at Eternity unfortunately overstays its welcome eventually.

8 / 10.0 - Cryptmaster

Cryptmaster is the ultimate evolution of simple word games like Hangman into a fantasy dungeon crawler and manages to delight in its simplicity.

Children of the Sun shoots you in the face with a style that is undeniable and makes this story of anger, violence, and revenge more beautiful than you could possibly imagine.

6 / 10.0 - Life Eater

While I was undeniably a little disappointed after going into this with high expectations, it's a very unique game that offers an interesting experience once you accept that it's a much smaller project.

6 / 10.0 - Dragon's Dogma 2

While there's clearly a fantastic and unique game here, heavy PC performance issues make it difficult to enjoy it fully at this point in time.

10 / 10.0 - Pepper Grinder
Mar 28, 2024

Pepper Grinder is simply one of the greatest 2D platformers I've ever played, thanks to movement that is absolute perfection and endless creativity that allows for constant reinvention in every single new level you enter.

This remake doesn't offer much new to fans of the original except a shiny new exterior, but if you haven't played the original Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, then this remake is worth playing to experience a short, but packed, fantasy adventure at least once.

4 / 10.0 - REVEIL
Mar 7, 2024

Reveil is entirely derivative of other works in the genre with nothing new to add, and if you think that might be enough for you, it's unfortunately not a very good version of all that either.

4 / 10.0 - Ultros
Feb 28, 2024

While Ultros undeniably looks and sounds beautiful, the incredibly tedious gameplay and a time loop gimmick that leads to tiring monotony more than anything else make Ultros fail to be anything more than nice to look at in screenshots.

9 / 10.0 - Balatro
Feb 19, 2024

To put it in terms as simple as the game itself, Balatro is the best deckbuilding roguelike I've played. And I've played as many as there are cards in a deck (almost).

I will play Granblue Fantasy: Relink for many more hours to come. It perfectly scratches that itch of slaying giant beasts to upgrade one of many individual characters to then slay even bigger beasts in this beautifully illustrated steampunk fantasy world.

6 / 10.0 - The Finals
Dec 27, 2023

There's plenty of fun to be had with The Finals' fast-paced gameplay, but it might just be a little too generic to survive in the long run.
