Pokemon GO has announced a new Safari Zone and City Safari event for September in South Korea and Indonesia. The Safari Zone is a recurring ticketed Pokemon GO event that takes place in different locations around the world. Since last year, Niantic has introduced Pokemon GO City Safari, a new Safari Zone format in which trainers explore the host city instead of a specific location.
The Safari Zone was first held in 2017, with Pokemon GO players in Germany, France, and Spain joining in-person activities such as encounters with Pokemon from Kanto and Johto. Since then, the event has passed through countries such as Brazil, Japan, and Canada, with the first City Safari taking place last year in South Korea, with rewards like shiny Eeveelutions for Pokemon GO players. The City Safari and the Safari Zone are back for Pokemon GO, with rewards and bonuses for trainers.
Bidoof may not be one of the most powerful Pokemon, but a Pokemon GO player shows off a super rare version of the critter that they found.
