Tavern Talk Reviews
If you enjoy visual novels and games very similar to this like the Coffee Talk franchise, then this is absolutely for you. It’s a slow burn that doesn’t speed up or see you getting into scenarios you could describe as epic or turning points for a universe, though. This is a game for those who want a genuine answer from friends when they ask how they’re doing, a visual novel you can take your time with and leans much more into making you feel something instead of blasting you with impressive fights, fates, and fantastic visuals.
Tavern Talk makes you a side character in a fantasy adventure, and that's surprisingly fun!
Tavern Talk is comfy and satisfying with a few fun twists, but won't challenge your palette too much.
Tavern Talk is a good pick for people looking for a medieval bar narrative experience. Especially, those who love epic stories and a good conversation, it's worth getting to know the unique Wayfarer's Inn.

Though it makes a few mistakes, Tavern Talk is a success as a bar simulator and as an RPG. The game uses the best of both genres for the sake of a unique narrative granting its place alongside its biggest inspirations. I definitely won't forget Fable, Caerlin, Rhea, Kyle and the others so soon.

Sometimes, you don't need to be the hero of the epic adventure. Sometimes, it can be more fulfilling to enable others to maximise their potential in your stead. Sometimes, the safety and security of your own four walls are the escape from your traumatic past that you needed. Buy another round, and I'll tell you that tale, too.
The coziest of cozy visual novels, Tavern Talk is sure to win you over. With a huge cast of delightful and interesting characters and intriguing fantasy stories, no cozy afternoon can be complete without serving these adventurers their drinks.
With its pleasant atmosphere, simple mechanics, important lessons, and characters you're sure to fall in love with, Tavern Talk is a must for visual novel fans. Bonus points if you like D&D.
Tavern Talk is a unique and fun story with excellent characters, beautiful characters and scenery, and is great fun to play. However, it is missing a lot of the autonomy that I was hoping it would have. If you are looking for a fun visual novel with a great story, good humor, and amazing characters, Tavern Talk will be a five-star game in your books, I think. If you loved Coffee Talk, you’ll dig this one as well.
