Baldur's Gate 3 Reviews
With a vast world to explore with varied stories and secrets to discover, Baldur's Gate 3 definitely shines. The cast is largely appealing and voice acting is top notch all-around, even if the storytelling and line delivery is varied in its pace. Character progression is somewhat weak in the opening levels but has a strong foundation for a great buildcraft experience, even if it lacks some on the fly experimentation seen in Larian's past efforts. Despite some performance woes in the later parts of the game and controller hangups, this is a journey worth taking for fans of Dungeons & Dragons or those new to the role playing field.
Regardless of your gaming preferences or skill level, Baldur's Gate 3 offers an immersive narrative and captivating characters that any gamer will appreciate. Now available on Xbox Series X and S, this title welcomes all players to uncover its hidden treasures.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is a game of ups and downs: if the script and cast are fantastic, the performance is shaky. If the visuals and soundtrack are jaw-dropping, the experience is not the most intuitive and fluid on console.

With such high highs and low lows, this game is what you make of it. If you can stomach the glitches and frustrations that come with the local co-op experience, you are in for a fantastic time.
Baldur's Gate 3 is a defining RPG that offers a very complex narrative and has answers for every possible situation, and establishes itself as one of the best RPGs ever made.

The journey for Larian Studios was a long one, and it's safe to say that Baldur's Gate 3 is truly worthy of all the praise it has received to this point.

Baldur's Gate 3 is a genuine all-timer, this really is as good as RPGs get, and it's an all-timer that's arrived on Series X in fine form aside from a pesky issue with deleted saves. Returning to Baldur's Gate and successfully serving up the best entry in the series to date must have been an absolutely monumental task, but Larian Studios has managed it with style to spare. With top class combat, writing, acting and world-building hiding all of the terrifying intricacies of a refreshed D&D rulebook, letting us players just get on with the fun stuff, there really is no finer adventure to take in 2023. What an absolute belter, and a perfect way to wrap up this most problematic of years in the industry.
It's taken a couple of decades, but Baldur's Gate finally has a worthy sequel. While the sandbox it promises proves to be cunning legerdemain and the main story descends into another generic hero's journey, the richness of your party and the side quests you encounter will keep you engaged for literally hundreds of hours.
Larian Studios has shot for the sky in the creation of Baldur’s Gate III, and regardless of anything else must be celebrated for the achievement of rolling such an ambitious title out of the door after keeping the faith to do it properly.
Larian Studios has tapped into the Weave and conjured up a near-impossible miracle, bringing the creativity of Dungeons & Dragons to life in Baldur’s Gate 3. Players are given real agency to pursue the narrative in a way that suits them and to dive into combat and experiment with a dizzying number of options. Baldur’s Gate 3 is a truly phenomenal game that has managed to sweep up the imaginations and dreams of players and developers alike. Baldur’s Gate 3 may just go down as one of the greatest games of all time.
Baldur's Gate 3 is an outstanding achievement in game design, character-based storytelling, and player choice. So, if you've been hesitating to play it like I have then don't be a goof and check it out already; you almost certainly won't regret it. ⚔️
Baldur's Gate 3, the new king of RPGs, demands your attention with its stunning depth and detail. Even though the gameplay may be a little slow for some, it will be hard not to draw you in with the strongest possible pull of the grandeur and beauty of its world. The latest saga created by Larin Studio can keep your life engaged for days, weeks, months and even years. If you approach it as a newcomer or even if you are familiar with the genre, you will enjoy playing Baldur's Gate 3 for a long time.

Against all odds Baldur’s Gate 3 is everything it’s hyped up to be. An RPG with few if any equals. A project of passion, made by RPG fans for RPG fans. A niche game, developed with AAA quality graphics, sound, and animations. Phenomenal writing, compelling complex characters, and some of the best turn-based combat I’ve ever enjoyed. And best of all, for me personally, is that it does its predecessors proud.
Some games are very good, while others are bad. Baldur's Gate 3 doesn't fall into either class. It would still not be enough to say that it was perfectly designed for him and that he packed the entire world of D&D into 90 hours of gameplay. Because it has been a groundbreaking production that makes it very difficult for future games -especially RPG- with its detailed and well-thought-out structure that will take its own and other genres forward. An infinite amount of exploration items have a structure that pushes you to want to live in that world.

Baldur's Gate 3 is a sprawling, dense RPG backed by fantastic characters, an excellent combat system, and an impressive co-op mode.
An incredible detailed and large game, Baldur's Gate 3 is a joy for RPG fans and fans of the pen and paper game as well.
What Larian Studios has accomplished with Baldur’s Gate 3 is nothing short of a masterpiece.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is one of the best games ever made… do I need to say anything else? Its storytelling is amazing, the combat is enthralling, and the world is one I love being a part of. It plays wonderfully on the PlayStation 5, both from a technical perspective and with its controls, whilst the sheer amount of content here will easily keep players hooked in for a long, long time. 2023 has already been a wonderful year for gaming, but Baldur’s Gate 3 really is the crème de la crème. Don’t be surprised to see it rule over the ‘Game of the Year’ lists this year…
Baldur’s Gate 3 is truly exemplary, one of the few videogames in history that wholly deserve the universal acclaim heaped so freely upon releases above a certain marketing budget. The choices offered to the player in terms of both crafting an adventurer and influencing the story do an incredible job of translating Dungeons & Dragons to a form of interactive software that surpasses the loftiest expectation. The script is incredible, the gameplay beneath it downright luxurious. There won't be another like this in a long, long time.
