The Last of Us Remastered Reviews
A post-apocalyptic road trip that offers a fantastic, riveting experience, where destruction and beauty, and hope and despair, get entwined in a way that’s nothing short of genius, The Last of Us is so good that its somewhat repetitive, and occasionally dull gameplay isn’t enough to rob it of its rightful place amongst the video game greats. Therefore, if looking for an unforgettable action-adventure, with strong cinematic sensibilities, and a heavy emphasis in adult, character-driven storytelling, look no further than Naughty Dog’s classic, especially now that the remastered version has made the original even more stunning.
If you like games, then The Last Of Us Remastered is for you. It doesn’t necessarily fit into any one genre, but it is a must play for anyone who has a PlayStation 4.
The Last of Us stands the test of time showing us how incredible and emotional its journey really is.

The Last of Us offers a fair amount of gameplay, puzzle-solving and space to connect with the characters.
If The Last of Us Remastered does not upset the order established by the original version, it is clear that the magic still works. The technical additions enhance an already very tough and optimized gaming experience.

For me The Last of Us: Remastered is the best action-adventure survival game released so far
The Last Of Us Remastered isn't just an essential purchase for those who never played its original incarnation, it's also worthy for returning players to shell out the budget asking price to experience the game in a more magnanimous way.
This extraordinary experience, with a high-quality entry into the eighth generation, easily doubled the same pleasure as before. In addition to the original game, all previously released content has now been collected on a disc for PlayStation 4 audiences.

When The Last of Us released in 2013 for the PS3, it won 100's of awards & rightly so. As it's one of (if not) the best game(s) of the last gen, but many Xbox owners had missed this masterpiece.
The Last of Us Remastered is definitely worth your money on the PS4, particularly if you haven't experienced it on the PS3. Don't, however, expect that big of a difference from the PS3 edition. Sure, the better textures and the 60fps framerate offer drastic improvements, but there are still downsides, from the aliasing to the AI problems.
Players who missed this on the PS3 will find a lot to like here, but for those who have already completed it I doubt the graphical upgrade is worth another play through.
A next-gen playthrough reveals a game that doesn't break new ground, but very much tries to reach perfection with the tools Naughty Dog and the industry as a whole, really, are all very well aware of.
The Last of Us is every inch the modern classic, and this remastering seems entirely appropriate, even so soon after its initial release. As we enter a new generation, it's apt to celebrate the best of what games can do. It might not be essential for those who have already made the journey, but for everyone else, The Last of Us is vital.
The Last of Us has one of the best stories in recent memory. Too bad the rest of the gameplay isn't as well done. With far too many action segments and repetitive puzzles, this survival action game gets bogged down by filler. Thankfully the strong last act and great chemistry between leads makes this a must-play, warts and all.
All in all TLoU: Remastered is a compelling package; not only does it look and play better than the original, it's full of extra content and currently has a healthy online, multi-player community. And you know what, it's so good, if it came out on PlayStation 5 as The Last of Us: Remastered (The Director's Cut) we'd probably buy it again.
The Last Of Us Remastered absolutely deserves a place in your PlayStation 4 collection, despite whether you've played it before or not. The improvements this remaster brings only helps to show you how much of an incredible, beautiful, emotional and downright amazing game this is.
While The Last of Us was one of the PS3's most impressive, engrossing releases, The Last of Us: Remastered feels like the version of Naughty Dog's post-apocalyptic story of survival that the developer always intended us to play. Its story and characters are just as strong as they were before, but they're now reinforced by far more amazing visuals, consistent framerate, and a nice selection of new bonus features and DLC inclusions.
In every way, it's an improvement on the original game, where things like commentary and photo mode for taking pictures are just the icing on the torch.

The Uncharted series was always the staple for Naughty Dog in that exact role. However, The Last of Us has certainly defended it’s right to be the one the best Playstation title’s of all time. With beautiful graphics, a wonderfully written story, that’s almost too good to be a video game, and music that just sets the tone for an almost death-row lead life, you really can appreciate why this title scored over 20 Game of the Year awards.
