Persona 5 Reviews
undefined. While I can't hold the choice of platform against Persona 5, I really wish I could have played this portably – for whatever reason, PlayStation Remote Play doesn't work in my environment and it would have saved me a week of real time. But I asked for a PlayStation 4 for Christmas largely so I could play it under the best circumstances, and it definitely didn't disappoint. Fingers crossed that Persona 5 takes after 3 and 4 and gets a portable version because by then I'll be ready to return to Tokyo.
Persona 5 is an absolutely amazing game that convinces with its art style, music and story. It has anything one could ask for such a game and more. The turn-based battle system offers a wide array of opportunities. While it may not be everyone's cup of tea, it is definitely recommended to give it a go.
Persona 5 isn’t just a game — it’s life-changing. It can inspire you to make a difference in this world. To Wake Up, Get Up, and Get Out There. It changed my heart as well, through the large, community I can call my family to cosplaying the characters I know and love. Persona 5 changed my life.
It's a game where the ultimate villain is political apathy, but in the process of telling a story about social justice Persona 5 falls back to cheap stereotypes and the same conservative values that it's supposed to be trying to overturn. But god damn those menus and music are nice! The visual stylings, gameplay systems and confidant narratives combine to create a technically proficient package that does make parts of the game more palatable
The graphics are impressive, the battle system is perfect, and the story is epic. This is a turn-based RPG you don't want to miss, so be sure to buy it today since I'm sure you'll LOVE it!
Persona 5 manages to combine style and substance with the most refined gameplay the series has seen, with some smart writing that doesn't quite always hit the mark
Whether you are a long time fan, or a Persona newbie, Persona 5 will certainly take your heart.
When I was around 20-30 hours into Persona 5 I thought it was a fantastic game. By the 100 hour mark and upon finishing my first playthrough I realized this is a truly exceptional game.
This is a must play game, for any gamer, whether you're a hardcore JRPG fan or someone just looking for a great story, with relatable characters and an interesting world.
Persona 5 takes the JRPG mold to create an intensely original, deep experience in its gameplay, presentation, and narrative. There are not many games that pull it off quite like Persona 5, marking it as a masterpiece title that will set a benchmark for years to come.
The gameplay mechanisms along with the game's impeccable story narrative have made us side with one of the best JRPG games.

At the end of the day Persona 5 is the perfect dance of gameplay, music, story and design that mixes together to be the pinnacle of the JRPG genre and the best entry in the Persona series, and maybe even Shin Megami Tensei, to date.
RiME is a title that evokes emotional response through its design similarities to many great games, but stands apart from them by centering itself on an often unaddressed topic, relatable to all. Tequila Works took their time with this one, but the final product is well worthy of a playthrough.
I'm glad to say that Persona 5 is everything I had hoped it would be and then some. The incremental improvements over the gameplay of Persona 4, the visuals, the soundtrack, all of it came together almost perfectly. That translation could have used a little bit more polish, but otherwise this is the finest work Atlus has ever produced.
Persona 5, however, is superbly balanced at all levels of content – screenplay, characters, plot, civilian Tokyo, X mazes and Mementos, a duel system, jazz music and an unmistakable atmosphere. There's practically nothing to blame for this game.

Persona 5 is a monumental exemplary story-driven jRPG with a crazy design, unusual for videogame music and incredibly rich story, where you want to stay forever. A huge amount of content and new mechanics that open up as you progress through, unique dungeons, almost complete absence of grind and a great rhythm bring it on game Olympus. This is a major achievement in the genre at least for the last five years and one of the main contenders for GOTY 2017.

Without a doubt, Persona 5 has climbed the ranks into one of my favorite games of all-time, if not being at the very top. It’s going to be hard for ATLUS to top this one when the eventual Persona 6 releases, but you know what’s funny? I said the same thing after finishing Persona 4 Golden, and guess what? They succeeded with Persona 5. I have full confidence they’ll be able to do it again in a few years time. There is a new measuring stick by which all future JRPG’s are going to be compared to, and it has successfully changed the landscape for what it means to be a Japanese developed roleplaying game.
Music, Social Links, interactivity and with light hearted comedy, you'd be on the verge of a distinctive thrilling journey in which you will not find in anything that is outside the Persona series.
