Super Mario Odyssey Reviews
Another Mario marvel
Odyssey is certainly not a bad game. While much of the content is boring, Mario controls wonderfully which lets you create your own fun. The 2D sections are entertaining distractions and the nostalgia-bait in Metro Kingdom even made me smile and that hasn’t happened since 2011. However, following a dog around and ground-pounding on the dirt he digs up isn’t what I want from a 3D platformer or a Mario game. Odyssey is there for you whenever you need a moon-generating playground to mess about in. You can pick it up and play it whenever you like. Go ahead, give it a quick go. You’ll get a moon.
There is very little to complain about when it comes to this game. The visuals are perfect, the gameplay and controls are solid and the level design is diverse and enjoyable. I wish the game had of tried to take a page out of Zeldas book and shook things up a bit more, but overall it was still a highly enjoyable game that I would recommend to any Switch owner.
Since Super Mario Galaxy 2 release, there has been no game like Mario Odyssey which is full of innovations and enjoyable missions. Once again, Nintendo’s producers have proved that they are familiar with the spirit of video games. They still believe that they can keep video game industry moving in the right direction by novelty and innovation; not by repeating clichés which have already been put to the test! Super Mario Odyssey is a combination of exceptional platforming challenges suitable for all gamers; either gamers who are not into difficult games or those who are looking for something more difficult than Super Meat Boy and Dark Souls.

I could keep talking about how awesome Super Mario Odyssey is, but I don't want to spoil your experience with the game. Rest assured that it's Game of the Year for a reason, and a must have release for all Nintendo Switch owners out there.
Super Mario Odyssey is a phenomenal return for Nintendo's mustachioed mascot, and (whisper it) the worthy successor to Super Mario 64 that fans have been longing for.
Even if the motion controls are annoying and the bosses and story are uninspired, the gameplay and environments make you forget any complaints you would have. You will have a great time exploring the Mushroom Kingdom like you did in previous Mario titles.
Super Mario Odyssey is among the most successful games I have ever played. Definitely the best 3D Mario platform game.

Super Mario Odyssey has certainly got PC Aficionado’s venture in Switch reviews off to a good start. This is easily one of my all time favorite games, and I will be surprised if Odyssey is not voted as 2017s Game of the Year. Either way there are going to be one set of angry fans, with Mario and Zelda both vouching for most people’s votes. I’m not going to say Super Mario Odyssey is a perfect 10/10, but it comes damn near close, and it is a must buy for any Switch owners. In fact, this is a console seller it self. If you were on the fence about buying a Switch before, Odyssey should push you well and truly over to the store.
Super Mario Odyssey is a culmination of all things Super Mario. It takes the best from its 3D predecessors and combines them in a grand experience that is perfectly paced. The combination of granular platforming mixed in sandbox environments is designed in such a way that gameplay never feels bogged down and provides moment-to-moment fun. While a main hub world is missing, and many fans may miss that, the worlds feel dense enough that there's enough mystery and secrets within them. I'm glad Super Mario Odyssey reinvents the series then even if elements should feel familiar, it creates its own identity. Super Mario Odyssey is a 30+ year celebration of Mario that pays tribute to the series itself and all eras of gamers in general. Odyssey delivers and I can't wait to see where we'll make our next stop.
Odyssey is one of Nintendo's most inventive, joyful, and audacious adventures, and one of the marquee games of 2017.
A miracle in three dimensions.
It's not often that we come across a game that is so friendly to new players and experienced ones alike.
I mean, it's a Mario game - right? Nintendo was not going to screw this up, even if some of their entries have been better received than others, the pudgy ex-plumber has been treated with Nintendo with a great deal of care over the years and the whimsical adventures he has gone on resonate with gamers far more often than not. Even with these ridiculous expectations in mind, it is safe to say that Super Mario Odyssey is quite the accomplishment, putting a fantastic exclamation point on what has been a really strong 2017 for both Nintendo and the Switch.
Super Mario Odyssey is another gem in the Switch library. Varied, funny, cute and unbelievably addictive. This game could be an ideal platformer, but uninspiring boss battles and heavy emphasis on collecting items after the main story prevent SUPER MARIO ODYSSEY from the perfect score.

Nintendo has done it again. Another masterpiece by Nintendo. Super Mario Odyssey can keep you entertained without having to spill a tank of blood or crushing the bones of a creature. It’s fun and it’s simple with a great gameplay and awesome level designs. This is one of those games that everyone can have some fun playing it. In Super Mario Odyssey your age and skills don’t matter. You can always have fun when you play with Mario. They have once again proved that they know the secret Krabby Patty formula for making gorgeous games. The switch is going through a different path right now and we hope it doesn’t end up where Wii U did.

Not since Super Mario 64 has a Mario adventure had me this captivated, immersed or impressed. Super Mario Odyssey is Nintendo's finest Super Mario title yet, and easily the most impressive Nintendo Switch title available. With so much to see and do - long after you've dispatched Bowser - you'll be returning to the Odyssey for a long time. Essential for all Switch owners and worth buying a Switch for. It's that good.
Super Mario Odyssey does things that no other game before or after it could or ever would do, and that’s one of many reasons why it’s a must-have for anybody with a liking for video games.
Switch owners need this game, players without a Switch need to go buy one to play it. Nintendo knocks another one out of the park, and this may very well be their best year of games since the Super Nintendo.
