Super Mario Bros. Wonder Reviews
I haven't had this much fun playing a Mario game since Super Mario World on the SNES. So much creativity went into making Super Mario Bros. Wonder whether that's all the new power-ups, the incredible level designs or the game-changing Wonder Flowers. The game is a blast playing solo but the fun is magnified several times over when you play co-op with family and friends.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder is a masterpiece in the 2D platforming space that showcases Nintendo’s creativity and innovation in the genre. It is an experience full of wonder, as the name suggests, and is a celebration of the Mario namesake, appealing to both fans and newcomers alike. This is a must play for anyone looking for a challenging yet charming action platforming experience because Wonder is the best Mario game in years.
Super Mario Bros Wonder is a great game for all; the wonder effects and the singing Piranha Plants are the highlights for me. It’s a game that has something for everybody: longtime fans, more casual players, and even non-gamers may be impressed with the gameplay.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder is the best and most elaborate 2D Mario of all time. We're quite close to the the end of Switch's lifecycle, but Nintendo hasn't slept on their laurels and elevated 2D Mario to another level.

After 11 years Nintendo return with what might just be a series high for Super Mario Bros. A wonderfully creative adventure filled with small details to enjoy throughout, it's a game I can wholeheartedly recommend picking up for any fan of Mario or just a good 2D platforming experience. You won't be disappointed.
Transformational, joyful, wonderful.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder is the Mario game we didn't know we wanted. This long-running series is no stranger to new mechanics and Wonder adds to the list with a completely fresh take while staying true to its roots. Simply put, it's a joy to play.
Overall, Super Mario Bros Wonder is going to go down as a classic and I’m super glad I didn’t wait on it. Whether you’re buying a copy for yourself or receiving it as a gift you’re, in for a Wonderful time.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is Exhibit A of Nintendo at its best. From its flashy new features to its attention to the little details, the game is an example of the kind of well-crafted and polished game that we’ve come to expect from the company over the years. Does it supplant Super Mario World as the best Mario 2D game ever? That’s a tough question to answer but I will say that it certainly comes pretty close. It’s definitely the best 2.5D Mario game to date and is a no-brainer not just for Mario lovers but video game lovers in general.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder couldn't have a more appropriate name. It's filled with beautiful sights, lovely music, unexpected mechanics, unfamiliar enemies and power-ups, and, thanks to Wonder Seeds, revelation after revelation after revelation. Not everything new about the game works, and it suffers slightly from easy levels and boss battles, but it delivers everything you'd expect from the series, and more.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder takes the best parts of past 2D Mario games and builds on them with new characters, gameplay mechanics and upgraded visuals. There’s something here for both fans of the series and newcomers alike, with local and online multiplayer to keep you coming back after you’ve finished the main story.
Well... the name says it all. It really is a Wonder.

As hard as it is to believe, it has been over a decade since the last traditional Mario 2D platformer that isn’t a re-release. Clearly, Nintendo has been biding their time as they have now given us one of the greatest entries in the series to date with Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Outside of the lackluster boss battles, everything else in this game is superb and truly exemplifies what a great Mario game should be. While some people may be awaiting a follow-up to Odyssey, Super Mario Bros. Wonder rejuvenates the 2D side of the series with a game that is perfect for people of all ages and should not be overlooked in the twilight years of the Nintendo Switch.
Let me make it clear to wrap up this Super Mario Bros. Wonder analysis. This new title is not a must-buy if you already own a Nintendo Switch; it's a must-buy a Nintendo Switch urgently to get a copy of Mario Wonder.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is gleaming with joy from every corner, with bright colors and expressive animations. The innovation and creativity seen in each level transcends what held back previous 2D entries, marking a new era of 2D Mario. While there's nothing here that transcends the platforming genre, Wonder is a fantastic title that any Nintendo Switch owner should grab.
I have certainly enjoyed the NSMB games since their inception on Nintendo DS, but I must admit that Wonder had surpassed those games in virtually every way. I felt a sense of whimsy and joy playing Wonder that took me back to the days of Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World. The game is packed with secrets, filled with challenge, and entertained me for hours. The pacing, the graphics, the controls—this is a masterclass in game desing. Wonder has reconfirmed for any doubters out there that the Mario brand is still brimming with potential for new gameplay ideas. Wonder is an essential game for Switch players that is highly recommended.
Nintendo rather threw the kitchen sink (full of thousands of Post-it notes) at Super Mario Bros. Wonder, so it's unsurprising that not every element is as successful as the game's – and the genre's – best. But when you think about it, it's remarkable that, after nearly four decades, there are still new ideas left to try. The real wonder is how good Mario's latest 2-D romp turned out.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder is a great example of how to take an enjoyable and beloved series to even higher levels. The game's world is so fun to explore and the new animations and creative ideas and abilities give this series a new breath.
