The Last of Us Remastered Reviews
A next-gen playthrough reveals a game that doesn't break new ground, but very much tries to reach perfection with the tools Naughty Dog and the industry as a whole, really, are all very well aware of.
Overall, The Last of Us Remastered is a solid title for the growing PS4 library and it's perfect for anyone who gave the game a miss last year to jump in. As for players who have already experienced the game on the PS3, I'd say this is a great opportunity to take another dive into the game's universe, especially if you loved it the first time you played it.
The Last of Us Remastered is the same great game it was in 2013, but Naughty Dog's upgrade could have used more time to bake.
The Last of Us Remastered is a spruced-up edition of one of the most well-crafted action adventure games of the last console generation.
It's quite simple really. One of the games on the PlayStation is now one of the best games on the PlayStation 4.
The Last of Us has one of the best stories in recent memory. Too bad the rest of the gameplay isn't as well done. With far too many action segments and repetitive puzzles, this survival action game gets bogged down by filler. Thankfully the strong last act and great chemistry between leads makes this a must-play, warts and all.
If we forget his twin brother for the PS3 for a moment, The Last of Us: Remastered is a top-notch game that should definitely not be missing from your collection of PS4 games. Is this a game to buy a PlayStation 4 for? If you haven't played the game yet, then definitely. But if you already have the PS3 version, it might be better to wait for an offer. After all, you don't pay for extra gameplay, but for a new lick of paint.

The Last of Us offers a fair amount of gameplay, puzzle-solving and space to connect with the characters.
In every way, it's an improvement on the original game, where things like commentary and photo mode for taking pictures are just the icing on the torch.

Great game that you need to get acquainted with for the first time, and you can again. Online mode does not disappoint and thanks to it you can play a lot of fierce duels. It looks better, works better, and history doesn't disappoint again!

A post-apocalyptic road trip that offers a fantastic, riveting experience, where destruction and beauty, and hope and despair, get entwined in a way that’s nothing short of genius, The Last of Us is so good that its somewhat repetitive, and occasionally dull gameplay isn’t enough to rob it of its rightful place amongst the video game greats. Therefore, if looking for an unforgettable action-adventure, with strong cinematic sensibilities, and a heavy emphasis in adult, character-driven storytelling, look no further than Naughty Dog’s classic, especially now that the remastered version has made the original even more stunning.
The Last of Us Remastered is the same game it was a year ago but it is worth playing again and if you never have experienced it before, you're in for something special. Perhaps it was the game of a generation, or perhaps that was merely marketing overhype, but either way, Naughty Dog created something mesmerising and brutal, amazing and grim, personal and grand in scope.
If you like games, then The Last Of Us Remastered is for you. It doesn’t necessarily fit into any one genre, but it is a must play for anyone who has a PlayStation 4.
The Last of Us is and remains a masterpiece, and our rating for that title remains unchanged. This does not also apply to this Remastered edition, not so much for the quality of the work done, as for the lack of usefulness of the operation. The graphic improvements are very pleasant, but not so marked as to force the purchase of those who have already tasted the work of Naughty Dog on PS3, and content-basedly there are no really significant extras outside of the DLC.

Simply put, The Last of Us: Remastered is just better than the PS3 version. If you are lucky enough to be experiencing The Last of Us for the first time, then you are in for an amazing treat. If you have already purchased the original game, then still consider picking this up. Heck, trade in your PS3 version if you can. This is by far the definitive version of the game, and if you can get the price reduced even a little bit it's likely worth your money.
If you weren't able to play The Last of Us on PS3, then definitely check out the Remastered version on PS4. It's honestly a must-play for any PlayStation owner. If you did play it on PS3 already and want to experience it again, well, have at it. The Remastered version only improves upon what you already loved. And adds to it as well with all of the previously released DLC already included on it.
If you're a former Wii or Xbox 360 owner that missed out on this title last year, it is, absolutely, an essential purchase.
The Last of Us for the PS4 is a perfect game for all people who haven't had the opportunity to get acquainted with it before. It's probably the best game available for this piece of hardware - great story, engaging gameplay and impressive technology. But if you know The Last of Us, you have nothing new to look for, except shiny graphics. And that's not really THAT important, is it?

The Last of Us is a horror masterpiece that proves that the aging PlayStation 3 still has the potential to produce jaw-dropping AAA games.
