Divinity: Original Sin 2 Reviews
A lot of different things can happen in Divinity: Original Sin 2; it's an RPG that is overwhelmingly about planning ahead yet still being completely taken by surprise.
Bigger, prettier and expanded in almost every regard, Divinity: Original Sin II is a captivating and addicting RPG epic and a worthy successor that's almost unmatched in freedom of choice and character progression, only ever-so-slightly inhibited by a badly balanced last quarter and a lack of boss fights and iconic music.

Divinity: Original Sin II refines, expands, or reimagines nearly all of its features, creating a complex, rewarding adventure with powerful multiplayer capabilities.
This is a great game for RPG fans to get their teeth into: over 20 hours in, you'll notice the story only just starts gaining traction, and you may only just start getting familiar with the game's myriad systems. The game is unforgiving, often mercilessly so, but if you have the patience to penetrate the density and crack open the core gameplay, there's such a wealth of well-written RPG content, it's impossible not to recommend.
Fantastic writing and voice acting abound in the deep, fantastical world of Divinity: Original Sin 2. Despite some massive difficulty spikes, its gameplay is incredibly rewarding and great fun.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 is a highly fulfilling role-playing experience with rich worldbuilding, well-written characters, and intricate quest design. It is only marred somewhat by its battle system, which doesn't remain interesting for long and often becomes a chore.
There is an overdose of top-notch cRPG content to be found within Divinity: Original Sin 2, with a deep, dense, slightly verbose adventure that almost completely fixes the failings of its predecessor, and has some great features like online and local co-op for the entire game.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 is a critical success on a persuasion test. At first, you can only feel enthusiasm in the face of such a majestic work, yet as the effects of the test begin to disappear you realize that something is wrong. With his latest effort, Larian Studios does everything a role-playing enthusiast would like from its ideal title, except to create an engaging and compelling story. This and a few problems too much in the balance of the combat system prevent Original Sin 2 from establishing itself at the top of the genre, while still remaining a great product.

While there is much to see and do, this is a game about being methodical, taking it slow and exploring every possibility before moving forward.

For those looking to get into cRPGs, and even for those just searching for a great RPG, Divinity: Original Sin II is heartily recommended.
Larian Studios has perfected their already astounding game with Divinity: Original Sin II - Enhanced Edition. A role playing game packed with so much content, brimful with choices and some of the best characters you´ve seen this side of Baldur´s Gate 2. In fact, there´s so much in it, it´s easy to get lost and confused in such a huge and detailed world. Especially the inventory on the console version suffers from overview issues , but this is readily compensated with the great local coop mode. It´s a game that offers the player everything. And then some…

Divinity: Original Sin 2 is simply amazing from top to bottom. Whether you appreciate great characters, an amazing story or challenging yet fun combat, Larian Studios' latest is everything you could ever want out of a CRPG and more.
With a gripping story, fantastic soundtrack, and new gameplay mechanics, this game is a cannot miss for RPG fans.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 stands as a remarkable example of three genres: the classic roleplaying game, the online arena battler, and the tabletop-style adventure enabler. If its campaign fails to shake off some of Larian’s unfriendlier habits, those flaws are mitigated by the ways in which the studio have shaped a genre moulded by nostalgia into genuinely new forms – changing more than just the keyboard shortcuts for the better.
Divinity Original Sin 2 is undoubtedly one of the best RPGs we've seen since a long time. Deep, rich, various and gorgeous are the right words to describe this game. Larian has made a true masterpiece.
