Shadow of the Erdtree is far more than a simple DLC. It's a huge expansion that looks like a brand new game, with new hard challenges, a remarkable map design and more than 30 hours of marvellous discovery and brutal boss fights.

Night Springs takes another step towards Sam Lake's goal of exploring the meaning of storytelling, offering a bizarre yet perfect continuation for Alan Wake 2.

A very well-crafted porting, that leaves you with no more excuses for not playing such a classic.

Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut is the same, immersive, action open world played on PS5, perfectly ported to PC. Great job, Nixxes.

The Rising Tide is an well-thought DLC that adds something interesting to all that FFXVI already has to offer.

Despite the long time that has elapsed between the first release and this Switch port, Kingdom Come Deliverance Royal Edition fails to align with the excellent quality of most of Saber Interactive's previous works on Switch.

If it is true that some of the recent PlayStation ports on PC had left a lot to be desired, in the case of Horizon: Forbidden West instead things have been done with the right care, offering the community on PC since day 1 a very scalable game, adaptable even to not very recent configurations and enjoyable even on the various handhelds on the market, Steam Deck included.

It's not clear why a new fan should start their journey from the third chapter of the series, but Trials of Cold Steel III and IV are still enjoyable and a must play nonetheless.

The Last of Us Parte 2 Remastered is just a re-sell of the same game with new modes that could have been added for free.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: The Treasure of Area Zero - Part II: The Indigo Disc is a DLC very different from the previous one, which brings the adventure back to tones more similar to those of the base games, with a focus on the exploration of an open map (obviously more contained) and on battles.

Outer Wilds is still a brilliant game in its Nintendo Switch version, which also includes the Echoes of the Eye DLC, and we recommend visiting the small but fascinating universe Mobius Digital has given life to. It's just that this version is the worst of the bunch, and the other ones are much cheaper now, four years after the original release.

Echoes of the Fallen is the first of two Final Fantasy XVI DLCs, which can be completed in less than three hours and is not able to satisfy those who wanted something more important and imperious from Square Enix. The new content includes a three-story corridor dungeon inside a tower, which denotes a great deal of level design laziness and only offers a couple of spectacular boss fights. All this, to be experienced always in easy mode like the base game since it must be faced before the final mission. Forgettable and unnecessary content.

Lake: Season's Greetings fully embraces the cozy nature of the full game, and we loved it for this.

If you loved Dead Island 2 madly or bought the Gold version which also included the Season Pass, Haus will give you a couple of pleasant evenings, but in all other cases the advice is to wait for a price drop or the inevitable Game of the Year Edition which will include all the post-launch DLC.

Tales of Arise: Beyond The Dawn is a maxi-DLC that expands the lore and the contents of the original game, starting from the game finale and with a story of over twenty hours.

The console version has not highlighted any particular problems in terms of code cleanliness and preventing bugs, and the sacrifices in graphic terms compared to the PC version, although present, are not such as to diminish either the authorial vision of Sam Lake and company, or the visual beauty of a title that finally allows you to breathe next-gen air.

Of course Humankind feels home on PC, but the porting is decently crafted and, despite some flaws in the controls and in the UI, manages to offer to console players all the good (and the bad) it had when played using a mouse and a keyboard on your computer.

Borderlands 3 on Switch in handheld mode is surprisingly enjoyable and feels like a good option for players that still have to play the beloved looter shooter from Gearbox.

Separate Ways is the best Resident Evil DLC to date: better than the original, with new gameplay features, bigger and with a lot of new story details.
