Visual improvement is usually the only real reason to pick up remastered versions of old games, but Unfolded goes one better. The fact it looks better is merely an attractive bonus. Even if you've already played the original game through to completion, it's absolutely worth playing it again in this incarnation.
Tearaway Unfolded is fun and fizzes with ideas, even though some of the original's charm has been lost in translation.
Though Tearaway Unfolded does wonders with paper, it sometimes leaves you feeling flat.
A noble effort to recreate one of the PS Vita's best games on a home console, but the end result never feels quite as elegant or organic as the original.
This is a great family game, and it's an opportunity for people who don't have a Vita to see why it's a favorite
It's just plain fun, and while it might overstay its welcome, Tearaway Unfolded is a wonderful excuse to jump back into one of the most creatively rich platformers in recent memory.
A lovely game with a delightful story, this platform puzzler has very high audio-visual appeal. It's also really fun to play - although it does have areas where poor camera choices and slightly awkward controls can make the proceedings frustrating.
Tearaway Unfolded improves upon the original by adding innovative controls, a handy companion app, augmented reality features via the PS Camera, and a plethora of new content including expended environments with new quests. With this much whimsical content, it's going to be hard to tear away from my TV.
