Critic Reviews for Train Sim World 4
It's not the world's most radical sequel but Train Sim World 4 is a sizeable update for the virtual train set, with plenty to please new fans and old.
Whilst Train Sim World 4 does the train sim part quite well, the world part is incredibly lacking - it comes with only three routes in the base game and the others cost significantly more than you might expect. All of those routes are in North America or Europe, even the DLCs, which would make it a much smaller world than the one I live in. If you love trains and have plenty of train sim money, Train Sim World is a good option for running routes. Just be aware that you'll probably be paying more than is reasonable.
A definite bump to TSW3: TSW4 brings more trains, more routes, and more freedom to craft your own fun within the sandbox available. Dovetail is continually improving and refining the formula for avid train lovers.
Whilst not having as much additional content as a full sequel perhaps should have, Train Sim World 4 is still undoubtedly the king of the rails. The almost inexhaustible amount of content on offer is enough to get any train fan to hop on board.
