Critic Reviews for Mark of the Ninja: Remastered
Still one of the best stealth games of recent years and an accomplished 2D platformer in its own right, with a near perfect balance of depth, accessibility, and bloodshed.
The remaster is just a timeless reminder of its importance in the pantheon of sneaking games.
An excellent remaster that stays as great as the original game, thanks to the work on graphics and the quality of the original proposal.

Mark of the Ninja Remastered is an utterly stellar stealth game and, six years on, it's lost none of the magic that made the original such a critical darling. A strong art direction, engaging story, well-paced open gameplay, and a slew of extra content all combine to make for a near-flawless experience that you certainly won't want to miss out on. We'd give this game a high recommendation to all Switch owners; it's the best stealth game money can buy in the Switch library, and one of the best ones in any console library.
It's a smartly-made stealth game that oozes style while being packed with gameplay variety and depth. Playing this 2012 release today made me wary that it might show its age, but the amazing thing is that in 2018, this game feels extremely fresh. This ninja has been hiding in the shadows, waiting to strike on Switch, and the results are fantastic.
It's been years since it debuted but Mark of the Ninja is as much fun now as it's ever been so if you've never had the pleasure to play it then getting this new Remastered version is a good excuse to finally do so.
Mark of the Ninja Remastered is a truly amazing stealth game and an excellent re-release that features tight controls, strong art direction, better graphics, improved audio, and a slew of extra content including an entirely new story level, a new character, additional items as well as the option to enable developer commentary
Beautifully animated and a dream to play, Mark of the Ninja: Remastered rightfully stands next to the greats of the stealth genre. Intelligent design choices build the foundation to what is one of this generations best releases, let alone remasters.
